Afghanistan’s Taliban management has ordered all Afghan girls to put on the all-covering burqa in public, the ministry of vice and advantage says.
The transfer on Saturday evoked related restrictions on girls through the Taliban’s earlier hard-line rule between 1996 and 2001.
“We want our sisters to live with dignity and safety,” stated Khalid Hanafi, appearing minister for the Taliban’s vice and advantage ministry.
