Old woman found dead with tied hands and feet

Durban paramedics have discovered an elderly woman’s dead body. It was found tied up before a report came out on Friday morning 8 October.

It is said that Netcare paramedics were called by a private security company after an old lady was discovered unresponsive in her house. Upon arriving at the Parkhill residence, the woman of about 70 years of age, was found dead and tied by her hands and feet on the floor.

“Netcare 911 was alerted by Marshall Security that a woman was found unresponsive at her residence in Parkhill Durban North,” Arrive Alive reported.

“When medics arrived on the scene they found the elderly lady aged approximately 70-years-old bound by her hands and feet on the floor.

“The patient was assessed, however, showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased by a Netcare 911 advanced life support practitioner,” the report said without suggesting any found injuries on the dead woman.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is now set to begin investigations and uncover more details on the tragedy.

Meanwhile, in Sherwood, which is just 14 minutes away from Parkhill, three suspects shot at police while trying to evade arrest on Monday.

The shootout occurred after police blocked their Chevrolet white bakkie in the middle of the road.

In the video, which was shared by South African crime activist Yusuf Abramjee, the suspects appear driving a white Chevrolet bakkie.

The police intercepted them with their van to stop in the middle of the road. One of the cops then came out pointing at the bakkie with a fireman to presumably ask the suspects to step out of the vehicle.

The men suddenly responded with gunfire at the policeman.
